Sophomore catcher Gage Williams is having a spectacular sophomore season. During Spring break Gage hit 15 with 1 double and 1 triple, 9 RBI, 1 BB and 0 K's over 5 games. His season statistics are just as impressive with a .556 Batting Average (20/36), 6 doubles, 1 triple, 2 HR's, 25 RBI, 6 HBP, 6 BB 2 K's. (.653 OBP) Slugging (.944). Gage sas also thrown out 5 of 14 would-be base stealers while calling all pitches. The Sapulpa Chieftains are currently 11-3-1 and second in District play (3-1).
